Biba Apparels May Double Exclusive Outlets By 2020 Women's ethnic wear brand Biba Apparels has planned to open 200 new stores under its flagship brand Biba across the country over the next three years. The company's is also aiming an increase in business from its value fashion brand Rangriti, launched in 2015, from the current Rs 100 crore to Rs 300 crore. Siddharth Bindra, the managing director of Biba said the company typically opens about 30-40 Biba stores a year. "Biba is our flagship brand, and we are looking to nearly double the stores from the present 246 stores." He added, "We currently have about 44 stores under Rangriti, and are looking to triple this business to Rs 300 crore over the next few years.” Rangriti was started as a value fashion brand, and its standalone stores have doubled in the last two years, with a clear focus on tier II and tier III cities. Biba has also launched five standalone kidswear stores under Biba Kids.

Gaurs Group To Invest Rs 150 Crore In Education Business Realty firm Gaurs group has decided to invest Rs 150 crore in its education business planning to open two schools and one institution for higher studies in Uttar Pradesh. The company had forayed into education sector In 2014, and opened 'Gaurs International School' in its township at Greater Noida (West) or Noida Extension with an investment of about Rs 80 crore. Gaurs is now planning to open three educational institutes across NCR with a total investment of Rs 150 crore, a senior company official said. The two schools would come up at Siddharth Vihar in Ghaziabad and Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, while the institute for higher studies is planned in its township. Yumlok To Open 50 Outlets By 2020 Bengaluru’s popular street food restaurant, Yumlok, has earmarked an aggressive growth trajectory for the year 2018. Currently, Yumlok has three outlets and one cloud kitchen and it plans to setting up 50 stores by 2020.
