Snapdeal collaborates with University of California, Berkeley and Andhra Pradesh government

E-commerce giant, Snapdeal has tied-up with University of California, Berkeley and Andhra Pradesh government for its 'Smart Village' project to enable digital access for small artisans in the state.

The joint partnership aims to create viable solutions through digitization and new-age services.

Under the partnership, Snapdeal will provide local handloom weavers direct market access to buyers across the country, through its platform.

FreshMenu Opens First Front Facing Kitchen At Bangalore Airport Food tech start-up Freshmenu has opened its first front facing kitchen at Bangalore airport as it looking to double down on expanding its order base. With this, Freshmenu has now 35 cloud kitchens across Bangalore Mumbai and NCR and is looking to increase the count to 40-42 in the next four months. German Cosmetic Brand, BeYu Plans To Launch 300 Stores German premium cosmetic brand, BeYu from the ARTDECO group, aims to launch 300 stores by end of FY 2017-18. Out of these 300 stores, BeYu will launch 20 company owned and 280 shop-in-shop stores, BeYu India spokesperson said. In March 2017, Be Yu entered Delhi in a partnership with Kaunis Marketing Services. The brand which has presence in 40 countries globally is looking to have its stores in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among other. Ajay Ghooli, Managing Director, Kaunis Marketing Services, said, "By the end of this year BeYu plans to have approximately 300 stores across cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata."
