HomeShop18, Shop CJ Confirms Merger

TV18 Home Shopping Network Ltd (HomeShop18) and Shop CJ Network (Shop CJ) have completed the merger making the combined entity largest TV home-shopping network in India.
The companies had announced the merger of businesses of both entities last year in September.
In the combined entity, Network18 would continue to be the largest shareholder in the combined entity. Post the completion of the transaction, Shop CJ shareholders hold 25 per cent.
HomeShop18 in a statement said, the combination with Shop CJ would make it the largest TV home-shopping network in India. "The resultant benefits of scale shall better the growth prospects for the combined entity, allowing it to improve its standing in the TV home-shopping landscape and compete better with the challenge from e-commerce players.”

German Cosmetic Brand, BeYu Plans To Launch 300 Stores German premium cosmetic brand, BeYu from the ARTDECO group, aims to launch 300 stores by end of FY 2017-18. Out of these 300 stores, BeYu will launch 20 company owned and 280 shop-in-shop stores, BeYu India spokesperson said. In March 2017, Be Yu entered Delhi in a partnership with Kaunis Marketing Services. The brand which has presence in 40 countries globally is looking to have its stores in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among other. Wai Wai City Plans To Open 1500 Outlets In Next Five Years Following in the footsteps of its flagship outlet at Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, Wai Wai City, a ready to eat at noodle bar from popular noodle brand, Wai Wai, has now marked its presence at Logix City Centre, Noida.
