Taiwan's Bubble Tea Trend Is Making A Splash In Mumbai

Fruit flavoured tea of Taiwan; Bubble tea has lately been gaining popularity amongst the Mumbaikars. Bubble tea include a wide variety of refreshing flavoured fruit teas and milk teas, served ice cold or piping hot, with cherry natural tapioca balls that you suck up through a big fat straw.
It was invented in the early 1980's in Taiwan and later spread to other Asian countries.
Dr Bubbles Chai Specialist is a popular chain that serves its trademark Bubble Tea, to which they gave a makeover by adding fruit jelly and fruit poppers to the milk and fruit tea, to suit the Indian taste.
The Dr Bubble Chai Specialist Outlet at Mumbai's Hill Road, Bandra, sources their ingredients from an array of international location - tapioca from Taiwan, the bubbles from the UK and the jelly from Thailand.
Latest addition to it is the bubble coffee, which is an amalgamation of beautiful flavours, with the base of a green coffee. Bubble Coffee is not roasted, contains no caffeine and is not at all bitter.

German Cosmetic Brand, BeYu Plans To Launch 300 Stores German premium cosmetic brand, BeYu from the ARTDECO group, aims to launch 300 stores by end of FY 2017-18. Out of these 300 stores, BeYu will launch 20 company owned and 280 shop-in-shop stores, BeYu India spokesperson said. In March 2017, Be Yu entered Delhi in a partnership with Kaunis Marketing Services. The brand which has presence in 40 countries globally is looking to have its stores in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among other. Flipkart, Walmart To Complete $7-Bn Deal, Valuation To Reach $20 Bn In a move to put other E-commerce players in competition US retailer Walmart Inc. is in talks to spend about $7bn to become top investor in India’s leading e-commerce company, a move that would put the US retailer in competition with Amazon.com Inc. in one of the most promising online retail markets. The deal would give Walmart a major stake in an emerging e-commerce market of 1.3 billion people if the conclusion stays positive. The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retail giant plans to buy a third of Flipkart Online Services, in part by purchasing stakes from Tiger Global Management and SoftBank Group Corp., said the people wishing anonymity.
